Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Here at Terp Thon, we aim to unite our community and establish an inclusive, accessible environment in which everyone feels welcomed and represented!

Our dei mission
At Terp Thon we strive to foster an inclusive environment where everyone’s voices are welcomed and heard. Our goal is to collaborate with partners, students, faculty, alumni, families, and volunteers to ensure we embody a diverse, equitable, and inclusive space. Quality healthcare should be a guarantee, and through our organization’s efforts, we aim to create a more accessible and equitable healthcare system. It is crucial that we listen to and understand everyone’s individual needs and perspectives to encourage a welcoming atmosphere, maintain a productive environment, and achieve our goals.
DEI chair
Courtney Collins
Hi everyone, my name is Courtney Collins and I am the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) chair for Terp Thon 2025-2026! Throughout the year, I hope to foster an inclusive, innovative, and supportive environment for all members of our organization. I am a resource for all those within our organization, and those who are interested in learning more about our connection with Children’s National Hospital. My goal is to support and emphasize the importance of accessible healthcare for all, as it is crucial for our organization to embody the diverse community we support. I look forward to working with you all and continuing our exciting events to contribute to Terp Thon 2025-2026!
