Terp Thon is only possible because of the immeasurable efforts of our campus and community. Every Terp has the potential to make a difference for the patients at Children's National Hospital. Explore the ways you can get involved below!
Individual Dancers
Our Individual Dancers are participants at our Dance Marathon who are not a part of an established UMD club or Greek Organization but are placed on a Color Team with fellow Terps. Individuals can participate alone or make a team of their friends, and come to all of our community meetings and events!

Our Greek and Student Orgs are the biggest part of our organization! Over 100 established Campus Greek Chapters and Student Organizations participate as a Team to raise money for the patients and families at Children's National Hospital!

Our Internal team is for the Terps who want to go the extra mile for the Patients at Children's National Hospital. These students work year round to help plan and fundraise for our Dance Marathon in March. Students can join our Internal Team as a planning team member or an Ambassador for their organization! At Terp Thon, we also love to celebrate and share our Maryland Stories -- the inspiring journeys of dedicated members of our Planning Team, and the connections they have with Children’s National and pediatric illness and injury.
