Our Second-Annual Charity Golf Tournament is Just Around the Corner!
At Terp Thon, we are always looking for ways to expand our family, connect with the community, and raise funds for Children’s National Hospital. Following the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event, we are thrilled to hit the green once again for our Second-Annual Charity Golf Tournament!
On September 30th, 2026, Terp Thon will be hosting its second-annual charity golf tournament at Bay Hills Golf Course in Arnold, MD. Registration starts at 8am with shotgun start at 9am. With all proceeds benefiting Terp Thon and Children’s National Hospital in D.C., we are excited to bring this event back for its second year!
At $150/person, you can expect a fun day of golf with lunch, dinner, and refreshments. Not a golfer, but still want to donate? Help sponsor our event! Our sponsorship incentive levels range from on course tee box recognition, thank you notes on our social media, and recognition at our Dance Marathon event in 2027! All donations, large or small, help us make a difference for the future of children’s healthcare.
We are so excited to have a Terp Thon alum, Jimmy Miller, with us planning this event. We were able to catch up with him as he reflected on the tournament’s rapid growth and the community’s incredible response:
“We first came up with the idea to have the golf tournament 3 years ago as a way to get another part of the community involved in our cause. As the Partnerships Chair last year, I was able to see it come to life and was blown away by the support from the community. I’m excited to be able to continue the tournament and stay connected to Terp Thon this year,” Jimmy says.
Every registration, sponsorship, and swing makes a difference for pediatric healthcare. Funds raised by the tournament go toward resources that insurance may not cover–ranging from essential patient equipment to specialized art therapies for kids to have the chance to be just kids.
